1. 风蝉是什么意思？

I overheard a discussion in the hall about the famous controversy in the field of generative linguistics, which differed only in whether it was ‘gold teeth’ or ‘gold chamber.’
What were ‘gold teeth’ and ‘gold chamber’? I only learned from my huand that they were part of Lü Kuai’s theory, with the distinction being made in the usage of the words on the left and right of an article: ‘Lü Kuai distinguishes between gold tooth and gold chamber in terms of usage on the left and right.’

Basically, the left was ‘gold chamber’ and the right was ‘gold teeth.’ However, it was strange, as they were obviously pointing to the right. In this way, the term ‘basically’ became ‘definitely,’ which was at the heart of the controversy over ‘gold teeth’ and ‘gold chamber’ and the controversy of generative linguistics.
There was certainly some oblique meaning in this. I only saw the first sentence and did not know the next sentence. Was it due to the limits of my knowledge, or was I being misled?
I dare not draw any conclusions and went to ask a more experienced scholar, who would probably say that ‘gold teeth’ or ‘gold chamber’ could be used before this rope. It was only due to the higher status of the phrase ‘definitely on the left’ that the term ‘gold chamber’ was accepted. This statement itself might be misleading. How would we deal with similarly difficult questions in the future?
